This week Lanie Beth Sinclair begins the book of 1 John. In this passage, we learn how to truly walk in the perfect light of God. Even though our hearts are filled with darkness and sin, we can still rejoice because we have a defender — Jesus Christ — whose sacrifice makes us pure and upright before God. The more we truly marvel at this truth, the deeper the fellowship we'll have with the Lord and our fellow believers.
